Anne joined CareerBuilder’s Toastmaster club over 8 years ago. She feels strongly that the Toastmaster’s program has contributed directly to her rising success as a Professional Sales Representative, as well as impacting her personal life. “There is something so empowering once you have the confidence of your voice to speak up and speak out.” Having been involved over the years on the club’s board, she has taken on the roles of Club President, Secretary, Sgt. at Arms and VP of Mentorship. These roles have offered her a safe environment to stretch and test herself as a leader and communicator. Her favorite part of Toastmasters – “ all of it”! Connect with Anne on LinkedIn. |

Marci B. - Area 7 Director
Marci B. is a proud Career Builder’s Toastmasters member and serves as the Central Division Area 7 Director. She joined Toastmasters in November 2024, not to pursue titles, but to face a personal challenge: public speaking. What began as a therapist’s suggestion has become a powerful journey of voice, leadership, and purpose. A 25-year U.S. Air Force veteran, Marci’s leadership is grounded in compassion and humanity, with a deep belief in honoring the unique gifts each person brings. She strives to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Marci also serves as a volunteer yoga facilitator with the Prison Yoga Project, sharing mindfulness and movement to support healing in incarcerated communities. Though she typically leads quietly, stepping into the Area Director role was part of her continued commitment to growth and courageous leadership. Marci believes in the power of voice — not just to speak, but to advocate, challenge, and connect. She’s seen the magic of storytelling transform lives, including her own. Through Toastmasters, she’s committed to helping others find their voice and use it to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives and communities. |

Craig S. - Club Member | Club Mentor
Craig joined Toastmasters in June 2022 in an effort to expand and deepen his skills as a leader, speaker and evaluator at St. Paul’s Senior Services. His boss and mentor at St. Paul’s, Todd Kaprielian, is a longtime Toastmaster with the Smooth Talkers Club, presently serving as their VP of Public Relations and having been past President and Area Director. He encouraged and supported Craig’s participation, knowing the value it would bring to both Craig’s professional and personal life. It didn’t hurt that the CareerBuilders Club meets at St. Paul’s Conference Center, across the street from Craig’s office. Craig and Todd promote Toastmasters every month at St. Paul’s New Hire Orientation. Craig’s favorite role at Toastmasters is being the Topics Master, adding his own sense of fun and games to the proceedings, leaving members with a smile on their face and something sweet in their hand!
