The Curious Case of Manuals

Every week Tom came to meeting and volunteered for a role. He never brought his CC or CL manual, but brushed the notion aside. Four months later he notices his fellow club members being recognized for their progress. Suddenly it hits him... "If I had brought my manuals to meetings, I would be getting credit for my progress too". But it was too late. There was no hope for Tom.

Moral of the story- DONT BE TOM!

Don’t forget to bring your Competent Leader Manual (red) to every meeting. Every role from functionary to toastmaster can get credit in this manual and will bring you closer to becoming a Toastmasters International-certified Competent Leader. This benefits you and our club. You can only get credit if you bring your manual to the meeting and have it filled out by another club member. So just bring it to every meeting, in case you jump into a role on short notice.
